A Newtown man is set to put forward a special reasons argument that he was part of a clinical trial as to why he failed to provide a sample after being pulled over by police.
Nathan Williams, 25, was stopped by police near his Ffordd Eglwys home in Newtown on February 9. He was asked to provide a sample of blood to police officers who suspected him of being under the influence of either drink or drugs.
