Newtown won a dramatic penalty shoot-out to go through to the second qualifying round of the European Conference League after a nerve-jangling win over HB Torshavn tonight.

The Robins were looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg in the Faroes and proved Manager Chris Hughes to be right in his claim that they were in with a great chance of winning the home leg by storming into a 2-0 half time lead at Park Hall, Oswestry.
