About this event

The Braid Society is running this workshop on two types of braiding. The first is Kumihimo braiding, traditionally from Japan, and these are made on a wooden 'madurai'. The second is Split Ply braiding, traditionally from India. You can learn either of these if you just want to come for half a day, or both if you do the whole day. When purchasing tickets, select £25 for whole day and £12.50 for half day. Hot and cold drinks and cake will be provided but bring a packed lunch if you are staying for the day. Please be aware that the workshop is on the second floor of the building and there is no lift.
