About
An evening of traditional dance lead by caller Claire Weston and live folk music from our good friends of 'Monty Folk'
What is a Ceilidh?
Pronounced kay-lee, the word descends from the Old Irish céle, in Gaelic literally translating as “visit”. Today you can count on a ceilidh being music, lots of dances, lots of involvement, and a fabulous, fun night out.
We will also be serving food from Caffi Hafan as well as having a wide range of drinks and most importantly lots of good vibes!
Monty Folk, mixture of talented instrumentalists hailing from the beautiful town of Montgomery, Powys and consisting of flute, recorder, accordion, fiddle, Mandolin, Cajón, Cello and guitar to name a few.
As a collective, Monty Folk have a vast amount of experience providing the best in traditional folk music for dance.
Each dance will be guided by Claire Weston, so don't worry if this is your first Ceilidh, you will be in the good hands of Monty Folk!
Food available along with a licensed bar.
