About this event
Jane Clark is in the finishing stages of preparing the manuscript of her fourth astronomy book, which is about how to photograph galaxies from light polluted skies. For two years, she floundered massively while trying and failing to produce beautiful photographs of galaxies. At one point, the penny dropped, and she worked out how to do it. Jane will take you through her learning journey, and show how to deal with light pollution without using filters; and how to discover for yourself the amazing galaxies from which our universe is built.
Jane's talk will be followed by social time, observing (if it's clear and dark enough), and a review of Whats On in the world of astronomy by Tony Cook.
£4 entry or free to paid-up members (also free for under 18s accompanied by a paying adult).
This event is organised by Newtown Astronomy Society.
Adult £4.00, Child £0.00, Other £0.00
