All are welcome to the unveiling of David Davies (1818-1890) Heritage Plaque at Newtown Railway Station at 11am 31st August 2024.
The Newtown to Llanidloes Railway line was the very first railway line in Montgomeryshire Mid Wales.

Newtown Local History Group in association with Newtown & Llanllwchaiarn Town Council and Mayor of Newtown with Cambrian Railways Partnership will unveil this heritage plaque in memory of David Davies of Llandinam Pioneer of Cambrian Railways.

This event is organised by Newtown Local History Group.
