According to the Powys County Times, he admitted making 21 indecent images of a child of a Category A nature - the most serious kind, along with nine indecent images of a child of a Category B nature, and eight indecent images of a child of a Category C nature.

All of the offenses took place in Newtown between February 2, 2019, and May 1, 2023, with a fourth charge of possessing a prohibited image of a child occurring on May 3, 2023.

Due to the nature of the offences, the case will now pass to crown court for sentence - Mr ’Shaughnessy has been scheduled to appear at Mold Crown Court on December 5 for sentencing.
