However, Llais, an independent statutory body established by the Welsh Government to allow the public greater participation in health and social care services planning and delivery, demanded additional public consultation, causing a frenzy in the local community.

This option would retain both the Welshpool and Caernarfon bases, implement split shifts, and introduce a new Rapid Response Vehicle in the North East to serve areas such as Gwynedd, Wrexham, and Shotton.
