Town Councillors will be discussing in confidential session if they should nominate a member of the commnity for a British Empire Medal
At the next full meeting of Newtown & Llanllwchaiarn Town Council, scheduled for the 27th March 2023 at 6:30pm, councillors will discuss submitting a nomination to the Welsh Government to consider nominating a member of the community for a British Empire Medal as part of the Kings New Year 2024 Honours.
The honour, which is awarded by the Monarch on the advice of Government, is awarded for achievement or conribution in a local geographical area.
