This gathering will take place at the Monty Club on Friday 27th October 2023 at 6pm and is a part of the Town Partnership Initiative aimed at fostering cooperation across public, private, and voluntary sectors for the betterment of the community.

The upcoming meeting is the result of efforts made by the council and local leaders to create a united front in support of the Town Partnership Initiative. Members of the business community are strongly encouraged to participate and engage in this pivotal event. The council expresses gratitude to all participants who provided feedback through the facilitator's poll, which determined the date for the meeting.
The council's facilitator, Chris Jones Regeneration, alongside Councillor Pete Lewington and Councillor Chris Jones, recently conducted a highly productive meeting with representatives from the voluntary sector on October 10th. This upcoming meeting with businesses is seen as the final piece of the puzzle in building a comprehensive Town Partnership.
The ultimate goal is to convene the inaugural meeting of the Town Partnership in late November, although the initiative is expected to evolve and grow over time. The primary focus of this forthcoming meeting is to foster collaboration, establish shared values, and define effective ways of working together to benefit the Newtown community.
