Get ready for a festive extravaganza in Newtown as the town comes alive with Christmas spirit on Saturday, 25th November.

The Newtown Town Hall grounds will be the heart of the celebration, where the fun kicks off at 4:30 pm, culminating in the spectacular lights switch-on with Rory Evans and Father Christmas at 6 pm.

    This year promises a delightful array of activities for the whole family. Warm up with hot and cold food and drinks while enjoying live performances that will captivate audiences of all ages. Kids can embark on a magical adventure with rides, donkey petting, and an enchanting Elf Trail.

    The highlight of the evening is the mesmerizing 'Illuminated Bike Parade' rolling into town from the NPTC college between 5 pm and 6 pm. Be sure not to miss this dazzling spectacle as the parade weaves through the town center before reaching the Town Hall grounds. Families with little ones will be part of the parade, so if you're driving into town, exercise caution and patience with participants.

    As the town lights up, immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere with the Christmas lights turn-on, and keep an eye out for the jolly man himself – Father Christmas!

    For your convenience, there's free parking all day in Back Lane car park.

    Additionally, Bear Lanes shopping centre will host a series of Christmas stalls with something for everyone - a great place to stock up on your Christmas presents.
