The Community Grant is intended to support projects or community activities that benefit a minimum of 10 individuals and are delivered through community, voluntary, or self-help groups. Projects funded by the grant must align with specific criteria, including carrying out work in the community, providing long-term benefits, and supporting principles of equal access and opportunity.

Groups and organisations eligible to apply for the grant must operate within the boundaries of the Newtown & Llanllwchaiarn Town Council area, be set up for social and charitable purposes, and be open to all individuals unless there is a valid reason for exclusion. Funding can be used for a variety of activities, such as arts and entertainment, care, health, and well-being, education and skills, environment and conservation, recreation and sports, and social activities.

Interested groups and organisations are encouraged to submit their applications before the April 30th deadline.

Application forms and further details can be obtained by contacting the Newtown & Llanllwchaiarn Town Council or by visiting the website at www.newtown.org.uk/community-fund-grant
