Hafan yr Afon will play host to an uproarious comedy night titled "Comedy Caffi." This event promises to be a laugh-out-loud extravaganza, featuring a top-tier lineup of comedians ready to deliver an unforgettable evening of entertainment.

Headliner - Tony Burgess Stealing the limelight for the night is the illustrious Tony Burgess, whose comedic prowess has earned him accolades from both critics and audiences. Burgess, celebrated for his "great, well-crafted gags" as commended by The Times, is not just a comedian but a distinguished comedy writer. His talents have been sought after by comedy legends such as Johnny Vegas, Steve Coogan, and John Bishop. Audiences will recognize him from his appearances on BBC's "Ideal," and he's made his mark as a writer for BBC, ITV, and BBC Radio 4.

Support 1 - Simon Emanuel Simon Emanuel, a native of Wales, takes the stage as the first supporting act. Known as a "one-man comedy scene" according to Wales Online, Emanuel boasts a diverse portfolio as a stand-up comic, TV presenter, and radio personality. His wit has graced the screens in "Stand Up for The Sesh," and his comedic writing has found a home at the BBC.

Support 2 - Kevin Caswell-Jones Described humorously as "imagine if your grandad was cool" by the Hot Water Comedy Club in Liverpool, Kevin Caswell-Jones represents Wrexham's comedy scene. Beyond his comedic prowess, he's a writer for the iconic Viz magazine and proudly holds the title of The Albion Comedian of the Year.

New Act - Dave Flynn Dave Flynn, a rising star from Worcester, adds his burgeoning talent to the lineup. Despite narrowly missing out on a Midlands Comedy Awards win last year, Flynn has been captivating audiences across the UK with his sharp humor and fresh perspective.

MC - Donald Mackerel Serving as the evening's master of ceremonies is the incomparable Donald Mackerel. Mackerel, a multi-award-winning act and MC, boasts an impressive collection of accolades, including Cheshire Comedian of the Year and Midlands Comedy Awards New Comedian runner-up. Known for his unconventional humor, Mackerel has also penned jokes that, as he puts it, "have been written for nobody famous whatsoever." He even made an appearance on Britain's Got Talent in 2021, showcasing his unique comedic style.

Booking for the event is essential due to limited seating capacity. Food will be available from 6pm to 8pm and this is not included in the ticket price. The bar will be open until 11pm.
