According to the statement from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, smoke was seen issuing from the roof space of the property, prompting the firefighters to use eight breathing apparatus sets, two hose reel jets, ladders, and small tools to tackle the blaze.
Crews managed to extinguish the fire and gain access to the roof space.
After the fire was put out, the crews conducted a thorough check to ensure there were no remaining hot spots that could potentially reignite the fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported as a result of the incident.
