For a subscription fee of £50, households will receive a 240-litre wheeled bin and fortnightly collections of garden waste from 27 February to 1 December.
Smaller bins are available for those with smaller gardens, and compostable garden waste sacks can be used for households with purple bag collections.
Residents renewing their subscription will receive a sticker for their green wheeled bin to indicate their enrollment for the 2024 collections. New subscribers can expect their bins to be delivered within 10 working days.
Cllr Jackie Charlton, Cabinet Member for a Greener Powys, highlighted the benefits of the service, saying, "The easy, clean, and simple collection service is a great way to conveniently get rid of all your garden waste in the knowledge that it is being recycled into compost."
Residents can subscribe by visiting the Garden Waste Collections section of the Council's website or by calling 01597 827465.
It is important to check the collection day, as it may have changed from the previous year. For those not subscribing to the service, they can compost their garden waste at home or take it to one of the five household waste recycling centers in Powys.
