Welsh Ambulance Service crews and Dyfed-Powys Police officers swiftly responded to the scene just after 1pm, where a woman was injured in the collision.

Police arrested an individual on the scene for "driving a vehicle whilst unfit through drugs"; however, he has been released on bail pending further investigation.

A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police stated, "An e-bike, a car, and a pedestrian were involved in the collision on Broad Street, Newtown. The female pedestrian received immediate medical treatment at the scene."

The e-bike rider, identified as an 18-year-old man, was taken into custody for driving under the influence of drugs and later released on bail as authorities conduct further inquiries.
