Upon reaching the scene, firefighters confirmed that the fire originated in a first-floor bedroom. Utilizing six breathing apparatus sets, one hose reel jet, three thermal imaging cameras, and one short extension ladder, the diligent crews worked to extinguish the blaze. Their combined efforts prevented the fire from spreading further and potentially endangering adjacent areas.
In addition to the fire service, both the Police and Ambulance Service were present at the scene, ensuring the safety and well-being of all those affected. Fortunately, all residents had managed to evacuate the property prior to the arrival of the emergency services, and no injuries were reported.
Despite the successful containment of the fire, the property sustained smoke damage throughout. The full extent of the damage and the cause of the fire have not yet been disclosed by the authorities, as investigations into the incident are ongoing.
Following several hours of intense work and ensuring the safety of the area, the fire crews concluded their operations and left the scene at 6:57 pm.
