A spokesperson for Dyfed Powys Police provided clarification on the situation.
The spokesperson stated:
"Dyfed-Powys Police requested the assistance of the National Police Air Service (NPAS) to locate an individual in the Newtown area at around 9.50 pm on Tuesday, November 12."
"The individual was located, and officers are now continuing with their enquiries."
