Mary, who had been overseeing bookings and was a company director, has decided to resign after an impressive 10 years of dedicated service. The news was shared with a heavy heart on the festival's social media platforms.

A spokesperson for the festival expressed their sadness and gratitude towards Mary, who had been a valuable member of their team for many years. The spokesperson stated,

"We are really sad to announce the resignation of our bookings office, Mary Tudor. Mary has been one of our long-standing volunteers and has been the backbone of the festival. She will be sorely missed by us all."

"We are extremely grateful for the time and energy she has dedicated to the festival and wish her well on her next challenge."

The Newtown Food Festival, which has become a beloved annual event in the town, owes much of its success to Mary's tireless efforts and unwavering dedication. The festival, which showcases the region's diverse culinary offerings, attracts both locals and visitors from near and far. Mary's organizational skills, attention to detail, and passion for food and community have played a pivotal role in making the festival the success it is today.

In addition to her involvement in the Newtown Food Festival, Mary has served on the organizing committees for other prominent events in the town, such as the Newtown Carnival, Knife Angel, and Kicking Off Christmas. Her dedication and willingness to contribute to the local community have also extended to her involvement with the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Newtown Food Festival is organised by Newtown & Llanllwchaiarn Town Council and Newtown Food Festival CIC.
