In connection with the assault, the police arrested a 20-year-old man named Kenneth Jones. After thorough investigation and consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, Jones has been charged with Wounding/Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm without intent and Assault occasioning Actual Bodily Harm.

One of the victims, a 41-year-old man, continues to receive critical medical care at a local hospital. His condition remains unchanged, and medical professionals are working diligently to stabilize him. The extent and nature of his injuries have not been disclosed by the police.
Kenneth Jones is scheduled to appear before the Welshpool Magistrates Court on Monday, June 12th, 2023, where the charges against him will be formally presented. The court proceedings will shed more light on the circumstances surrounding the incident and determine the subsequent course of action.
