We've crunched the numbers for fuel prices across the town in 2024 - check out our analysis here.

With access to our historical fuel data between July and December in 2024, we've tracked petrol and diesel prices. Both these fuelds saw variations at major fuel stations in the town.

A breakdown of the average, minimum, and maximum petrol and diesel prices during this timeframe show that the average price of petrol was 134.26 pence per litre.

The minimum price offered during this period was 129.17 for petrol and 134.17 for diesel.

The maximum consumers paid was 141.90 for petrol and 147.90 for diesel.

Our analysis has shown that while Morrisons consistently offered the lowest prices, particularly in diesel, BP was often at the higher end of the scale. Tesco remained a steady middle-ground option for most drivers.
