Successes include the strong collaboration with the Town Council and Newtown Food Festival Community Interest Company; smooth setup and site management; responsible waste management and technology enhancements with the new trial and upgraded app.

Areas needing improvement for future events includes noise complaints - whilst less were recieved than last year, one complaint was still made to Powys County Council; late supplier changes and the cancellation of several bookings within 48 hours of the event taking place.

The report also identifies several areas for future improvement, such as:

  1. Expand food offering including more food to go options
  2. Improved sinage
  3. More pre-event marketing
  4. Water Refill Station
  5. Increased lighting
  6. More sound system points across the entire site

The Newtown Food Festival remains a beloved event in the community, and organizers are committed to building upon its success while addressing areas for improvement.
