Popular Newtown attraction, Beyond Breakout, has announced a change in direction - closing it's doors but returning in a new format!

The award-winning establishment, known for its innovative indoor games, revealed on social media that it will be closing its doors in its current incarnation on 31st August 2024.

Beyond Breakout gained recognition earlier this year when their 'Shaken Not Purred' game was named in the Top 5 Games in Wales.

The news of their closure came as a surprise to many who have enjoyed and experienced the thrill of their indoor games. Owners Jo and Lorna said:

"Our feelings are mixed as we poured our heart and souls into building our indoor games and we have loved every minute of it, but, we are resourceful women and we are very excited to take our business into a new direction."

For those who have purchased gift vouchers, there is just under three months left to redeem them and enjoy the immersive indoor games that Beyond Breakout has to offer.

The announcement assured visitors that this closure is not a permanent goodbye, but rather a 'see you later' as the business transitions into a mobile format.
