Package: 37 hours, Fixed term until 30/08/2025
Salary: Commensurate with current Apprenticeship Rates / From April 2023 Powys County Council will apply the Real Living Wage to all apprentice roles, therefore the apprentice rate will increase to £10.90 per hour.

Main Purpose of Post:

Working under the guidance of our workshop technicians to maintain the fleet in line with the undertakings of our operator’s licence. Our fleet consists of equipment such as Mowers all the way to 32t 4 axle trucks.

The right person will be;

  • Hard working and motivated
  • Willing to listen and learn.
  • Out going and confident
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team member but also independently when asked

What you will do:

  • Preventative Maintenance Inspections – vehicle/equipment inspections
  • Vehicle Servicing
  • Fault Diagnosis
  • MOT preparation
  • Parts replacement on fleet vehicles
