Package: 25 hours, fixed term until 31/08/2024
Salary: Grade 5 Point 7 to Point 9 £22,369 to £23,194 per annum pro rata £11.59 to £12.02 per hour

Main Purpose of Post:

The Governors of Penygloddfa CP School are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, motivated Learning Support Assistant to work in a foundation phase class.

Applications are invited from support staff who have experience of working in a primary school. Applicants would need to be committed to working as part of a team, working in partnership with other staff. The position will initially be fixed-term until 31/8/24 but this may be extended.

Penygloddfa CP School is situated in Newtown and currently has 288 pupils on role.

The successful applicant will be subject to a Powys County Council enhanced disclosure from the DBS and will need two references before they can take up the post.
