Yesterday, the streets of Newtown were teeming with a massive amount of visitors who flocked to both the festival grounds and the town itself.
Today, even the rain couldn't dampen spirits as the festival remained bustling with activity, offering a diverse range of culinary delights and entertainment.
Visitors took to social media to shower praises on the festival organizers for a job well done.
Comments such as "We have just been to the 2024 Food festival. It's absolutely lovely, some great exhibitors and food trucks. Well worth an hour or so of your time. Well done to everyone involved" and "Never seen Newtown buzzing" highlighted the sheer delight experienced by attendees.
One particular visitor lauded the provision of free parking, stating, "Totally agree and the free parking was an excellent idea."
This year, free parking for the event was generously funded by the town council, making the festival even more accessible and enjoyable for all.
