Residents and visitors in Newtown have been advised of a further update from Hafren Dyfrdwy regarding the burst water pipe on the A483 between Newtown and Welshpool, leading to a road closure and potential traffic disruptions in the area.
In an update from Hafren Dyfrdwy, they've said that teams are actively working to fix the burst water pipe on the A483, but due to the pipe being encased in concrete, the process is taking longer than initially anticipated. Upon reaching the burst pipe, the necessary replacement pipe and fittings are readily available on site for immediate installation.
