In a riveting match held at Latham Park on Tuesday, November 28th, Newtown AFC secured a decisive victory over Pontypridd

Newtown won 3-1 and the match was witnessed by an enthusiastic crowd of 181 fans who filled the stands to support their teams.

    The momentum continued in the second half as Aaron Williams extended the lead with a goal in the 51st minute.

    Despite a valiant effort from Pontypridd, Zeli Ismael sealed the victory for Newtown with an impressive goal in the 96th minute.

    Pontypridd managed to break through Newtown's defense with a goal from Keston Davies in the 75th minute, providing a brief moment of excitement for their supporters.

    The intensity of the match spilled over into the referee's book, with a total of 7 yellow cards handed out, including one for Pontypridd's manager, Andrew Stokes.

    Following this triumph, Newtown AFC now holds the 3rd position in the JD Premier table with a total of 30 points. Their next challenge awaits as they gear up to face Colwyn Bay on December 2nd.
