Newtown Football Club has announced a new partnership with local firm Montgomery Waters, who will now serve as the club's ground and community sponsor.

The venue, named after local football figure George Latham since 1951, will be rebranded as Montgomery Waters Latham Park.

Chairman Nick Evans expressed his satisfaction in securing the sponsorship of a prominent local entity and thanked the Delves family for their support.

He stated,

"As Chairman of Newtown AFC, I am delighted to announce this exciting new partnership. Montgomery Waters shares similar values to my personal ones, namely ones of value, quality, and sustainability. These will be embedded into the club, our academy, and club supporters, acting in the best interests of our community and the local environment."

Paul Delves, Managing Director of Montgomery Waters, also expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating,

"We're very excited that Montgomery Waters has become a partner of Newtown AFC. As a local business going back several generations, it's great to be able to support a club with such a strong connection to the local community."

"We're hoping we can contribute to developing the club on and off the pitch, for the benefit of the local region as well as the wider football community in Wales."

The collaboration between Newtown Football Club and Montgomery Waters is set to bring exciting opportunities and benefits to the local community, as well as enhancing the club's presence both on and off the pitch.

Fans can look forward to seeing the new branding at Montgomery Waters Latham Park and can expect a fruitful partnership between the two entities in the years to come.
