Penybont secured a comprehensive 5-0 victory over Newtown AFC in the Cymru Premier European play-off final held at Latham Park in Newtown.

The match was held on 11th May 2024, under sunny skies, with Penybont proving to be dominant from start to finish.

    Gabe Kircough opened the scoring for Penybont just six minutes into the game, followed by goals from Chris Venables in the 18th and 33rd minutes.

    Kircough added another goal in the 63rd minute, while Mark Little rounded out the scoring with a goal in the 73rd minute.

    Newtown struggled to keep up with Penybont's attacking prowess, managing only five shots wide compared to Penybont's one.

    The victory for Penybont secured them a place in the final and a shot at European qualification.
