The Town Council wanted to ensure that the exact date of the D-Day landings was marked in a meaningful way.
As such, they have planned a larger D-Day memorial event scheduled for tomorrow at 5pm in Dolerw Park. Tomorrow's event promises to be a fitting tribute to the sacrifices made by those who participated in the D-Day landings, with 1940s-inspired performances adding to the atmosphere of remembrance and gratitude for their service.
