In an intense face-off in the JD Cymru Premier League, Newtown battled it out against Cardiff Met in a thrilling match last Friday.
The game, filled with excitement and tension, showcased the skills and determination of both teams.

The showdown kicked off with Newtown on the back foot with an own goal by George Hughes in the 6th minute. However, Dominic Smith for the Robins made an impressive move scoring in the 8th minute, settling the score back to a draw.
The home team bounced back in the second half, with Eliot Evans securing a goal in the 50th minute, shifting the momentum in their favor.
Despite their strong performance, the game was not without its challenges for Cardiff Met, with Jack Veale receiving a red card in the 16th minute, and Gruff Morgan following suit in the 89th minute.
The match concluded with a final score of Cardiff Met 2-1 Newtown.
