Newtown faced a tough challenge as they played against TNS in a JD Cymru Premier match at their home ground last night.
The game showcased skillful performances, but Newtown struggled to match the dominance of the visiting team.

TNS came out strong from the beginning, with Daniel Davies putting them ahead in the 10th minute with a well-taken goal. Newtown fought hard to get back into the game, but Sion Bradley extended TNS's lead with goals in the 40th and 69th minutes, putting the visitors in a commanding position.
TNS respondeded again with Aramide Oteh scoring in the 63rd minute to maintain their lead.
Newtown managed to pull one back in the 74th minute when Shane Sutton found the back of the net, giving the home fans a glimmer of hope.
The visitors continued to press forward, with Declan McManus adding another goal in the 81st minute. Jack Bodenham sealed the victory for TNS with a late goal in the 87th minute, ending the game with a convincing scoreline of Newtown 1-6 TNS.
Despite the result, both teams showcased their talents on the field, displaying entertaining football for the fans in attendance. The match served as a reminder of the competitive nature of the JD Cymru Premier league.
