Residents and visitors of Newtown came together on the 29th of September 2024 to partake in a day-long celebration of sustainable fashion, organized by Textile Junkies and Open Energy at Hafan yr Afon.
The event kicked off at 1 pm and lasted until 8 pm, offering a plethora of activities for attendees to engage in. One of the highlights of the day was the sustainable market, where individuals could peruse items from Zsa Zsa Boutique and the Slow Fashion Makers Market, promoting the ethos of eco-friendly fashion.

A clothes swap was held, allowing participants to trade in their gently used clothes, shoes, and accessories for tokens which could be exchanged for other items at the event.
