Newtown and Llanllwchaiarn Town Council has officially opened nominations for the 2025 annual 'Celebration of Newtown' awards.

The award ceremony which will take place in April 2025 celebrates and shines a spotlight on individuals, groups, and businesses that have made a lasting impact on Newtown and its surrounding areas over the past year.

The awards cover a wide range of contributions, from community volunteerism to local business innovation, offering plenty of opportunities to honor those who go above and beyond to make Newtown a better place.

The awards do matter! We were so proud to have been a runner-up in the 2024 Local Business of the Year – Third Sector category, and we encourage everyone to nominate deserving businesses and individuals. Whether it’s a passionate volunteer, an inspiring youth group, or a local business that drives innovation and supports the community, this is your chance to ensure their efforts are celebrated.
