The report states:
"Report of trees blocking TV signal for neighboring property owner on Dolerw Park Drive, due to their height. No health issues with said trees, so the work requested was merely to reduce height and gain TV signal."
A response is given by Open Newtown which reads:
"A quotation was sought from an independent tree surgeon, but the extent of the work requested amounted to £2500 of tree work, neither within our budget or typical scope of work. Right to light and right to signal is not a sufficient reason to reduce tree heights."
The report also revealed that 50 trees are set to be planted this year by Open Newtown to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Control Techniques.
