Newtown firefighters and paramedics joined forces to respond to an incident in Newtown on Thursday 29th February 2024.
The collaborative effort involved road ambulances, Wales Air Ambulance, and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Services.

According to a statement released by Mid and West Fire and Rescue Services, the Newtown crew received a call at 12:39pm on Thursday, February 29th to assist with an incident on Oakfield Terrace, Llanidloes Road, Newtown.
The crew worked alongside Ambulance Service personnel to safely transfer a casualty from a property to a road ambulance. Their efforts at the scene concluded at 2:27pm.
A spokesperson for Wales Air Ambulance confirmed their involvement in the incident, stating that a helicopter and team from Welshpool arrived by air at 1:44pm. The Wales Air Ambulance crew's assistance concluded at 2pm.
Local residents commended the swift and efficient response of emergency services in addressing the incident.
