Recycling in Powys continues to lead the way in reducing waste and protecting the environment, with their latest initiative being the Spring Clean Cymru campaign.
As part of this campaign, Powys Recycles welcomed Keep Wales Tidy CEO, Owen Derbyshire to Newtown to see the progress that has been made in the town towards reducing, reusing, and recycling.

In addition to showcasing the great work being done locally, Powys Recycles and its partners undertook a litter pick in the town centre and river side, with the help of local Councillors, volunteers, and charity partners Ponthafren, Open Newtown, Castell Y Dial, Coleg Powys (NPTC), and the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints.
