Newtown's culinary scene is once again in the spotlight as two local eateries, Waggon and Horses and Cafe Glitz, have been announced as finalists in the prestigious 7th Food Awards Wales.
Organized by Creative Oceanic powered by Oceanic Events, the Food Awards Wales aim to recognize and celebrate the finest culinary establishments across the country, highlighting the dedication and passion of those committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
In the category of Restaurant of the Year Mid Wales, Waggon and Horses will compete against a formidable lineup of contenders from across the region.

The competition includes esteemed establishments such as Y Seler from Aberaeron, Dyffryn Cafe & Restaurant in Welshpool, and Fabian’s Kitchen in Llandrindod Wells, among others.
