Thomas Evans appeared in Welshpool Magistrates Court on Tuesday 25th July facing charges of rape.

As reported in the Powys County Times, Mr Evans, who resides in Oaklands Park, Newtown did not enter a plea to the offences.
Magistrates decided to transfer the case to the Crown Court due to the seriousness of the offence. The next hearing for the case will be on 25th August 2023 at Mold Crown Court.
