Newtown residents and commuters can now stay ahead of potential road disruptions with the launch of All About Newtown's new roadworks information tool.

The tool aims to provide a comprehensive list of upcoming works in the Newtown and SY16 area, allowing users to plan their journeys accordingly.


  Other Trending Stories

Using data sourced from Powys County Council and other street work authorities, the tool displays crucial details such as the location of the works, road or footpath reference number, a description of the works, start and end dates & times, and the entity carrying out the work.

Additionally, users will find information on any traffic management plans and map locations where available. To access the upcoming works list, residents can visit https://allaboutnewtown.wales/roadworks.

The platform will automatically post updates on social media channels one week before and on the day of the works happening.
