Use our new tool to view the latest fuel prices in Newtown

Taking advantage of the new Competition and Markets Authority temporary fuel price scheme, we've developed a new tool which allows you to see which pumps in Newtown are cheaper, before you set out to fill up.

As the cost of living continues, we are all striving to find the best prices when it comes to fuel. Using open data as part of a new Government scheme, we've built a tool which allows you to view the latest prices from participating retailers.

At the moment, Tesco, Rontec (BP) and Morrisons, along with Shell and other big brands are signed up which allow third party developers to build apps which can use this new fuel price info.

The temporary scheme provides recent pricing data, which we have used in building our tool. The full scheme, which all fuel retailers will have to participate in, is set to be released later this year after the consultation ran by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero ends in Autumn.
