Next week marks the return of the annual 'Tidy Newtown Week' - join in by attending a scheduled litter pick.
Between Monday 3rd October and Friday 7th October 2022, volunteers and councillors will be working across the town as part of the town council's 'Tidy Newtown Week' initiative. The initative is supported by Keep Wales Tidy and Powys County Council.

The sessions are scheduled for:
- 2nd Oct - 10am till 12noon - Dolerw Park (Meet at Dolerw Bridge - organised by Bryn Litter Picking Group)
- 3rd Oct - 10:30am - Vaynor (Meet at Vaynor Stores)
- 4th Oct - 10:30am - Maesyrhandir (Meet at the playpark on Plantation Lane)
- 5th Oct - 2:30pm - Trehafren (Meet at the entrance to Lon Rhosod)
- 6th Oct - 1:30pm - Treowen (Meet at Treowen Community Hall)
- 7th Oct - 10:30am - Maes y Dail (Meet at Maes y Dail Stores)
The town council have asked attendees to wear heavy duty footwear and clothing for the weather. You can email enquiries@newtown.org.uk for more information.
