Delivered by Phoenix Mindful Living, the Powys Balance Programme will take place via Microsoft Teams from 9.30am to 11.30am every Friday.

The course is exclusively available to unpaid carers, regardless of whether their caregiving responsibility is full or part-time.

However, due to limited availability, interested individuals are advised to book their spot early.

Nikki Thomas-Roberts, course facilitator from Phoenix Mindful Living, expressed her enthusiasm for the programme, stating:

"This course will provide you with the tools, techniques, and experiences of using mindfulness to build resilience, regulate emotions, and boost confidence. It is suitable for those facing life changes that may cause anxiety or distress, individuals looking to enhance self-confidence, as well as anyone interested in developing self-compassion, kindness, and self-awareness. We are here to help you approach life with a sense of empowerment."

Unpaid carers are individuals who lend support to family members, partners, or friends in need due to illness, disability, or addiction without receiving financial compensation.

The Powys Balance Programme aims to equip these selfless individuals with mindfulness practices that can assist them in better managing their own well-being while caring for others.

For more information on the programme or to secure your place, please contact Nikki Thomas-Roberts via email at phoenixmindfulliving@gmail.com.
