The purpose of this review is to gain insight into what people in Powys think of the way the council interacts with its customers, the issues that members of the public and businesses have encountered when contacting the council, and to collect suggestions on how the council can improve its customer service delivery in the future.

DJS Market Research has been contracted to survey members of the public, either by phone or in public spaces, to gather their opinions on the council's customer service. The information collected will allow the council to develop new and improved models of customer service delivery.
Surveys are expected to run until May 21, 2023, and Powys County Council has requested that if members of the public are contacted or approached by DJS Market Research, they should take the time to provide their views, as they are valuable to the council.
By conducting this review, Powys County Council hopes to better understand the challenges and obstacles that customers face when interacting with the council, and to use this information to improve the quality of its customer service.
