New weather warning issued for tonight and tomorrow

A new yellow weather warning has been issued for Powys as more snow and ice are expected to hit the area.

The existing yellow weather warning, in place until 12 pm on Monday is already causing disruptions due to snow and ice.

Now, the Met Office has issued another yellow weather warning covering all of Powys, including Newtown, Welshpool, Brecon, and Machynlleth, from 5 pm on Monday until 10 am on Tuesday.

This latest alert follows a weekend of yellow and amber weather warnings in Powys, with the area experiencing heavy snow, ice, and freezing rain.
