The request comes from a Services Committee meeting, held last week, who have requested the funds from reserves to fund the works. Town Councillors will then refer the request to a meeting of the full council for a final decision.

Town Councillors will also discuss a proposal to take £3,000 from reserves for the Newtown Food Festival, due to increased costs.
