Spots still available to give blood

There are still available slots for blood donation sessions in Newtown this week, as the Welsh Blood Service continues to call for donors to book appointments.

The service is in urgent need of more blood reserves to guarantee enough supply for hospitals in Wales during the summer holidays.

To cater to this demand, sessions have been scheduled in Newtown on Thursday 13 July. The sessions are being held at Hope Church between 10am till 12:30 and 2pm till 4:20pm. Additional sessions will take place in Welshpool on 18 July and 28 August.

Donors are required to book appointments in advance, as the sessions are only available by appointment.
