Two individuals have been admitted to hospital after a head-on collision near Newtown this morning.
The incident occurred along the A483 near Aberbechan, between Newtown and Abermule, early Tuesday morning.

Emergency services, including firefighters, police, and paramedics, swiftly responded to the scene shortly before 6.30am.
According to reports, one of the injured individuals was trapped inside a vehicle and had to be rescued by firefighters.
The individual was then airlifted by helicopter to a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent. The other injured person had managed to exit their vehicle before the arrival of the fire service.
Dyfed-Powys Police have confirmed the road closure in both directions as investigations into the collision take place and vehicles are recovered.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service also stated that a crew utilized e-draulic equipment and small gear to successfully extract the trapped injured individual. They concluded their operations and left the scene at 8.20am.
