Last weekend, Newtown was abuzz with excitement as local companies EvaBuild and Hilltop Honey faced off on the football field in a spirited match for charity.
EvaBuild, one of the competing teams, took to social media to express their gratitude and joy following the event. In a post, they thanked Referee Graham Grosvenor and the entertaining Andrew Whitticase for their roles in the game.

The company also shared their amazement at the community's generosity, stating, "We were asked throughout the day 'how much do you think we've raised?' and we took a guess and said 'maybe £2,000' but how wrong we were!"
With great pride, EvaBuild revealed that the total amount raised during the charity match amounted to an impressive £4,623. This substantial sum will go towards supporting Macmillan and provide approximately 144 hours of crucial nursing care.
